Justice Snow’s welcomes Boulder’s Stompin’ George Eldon for a no cover live music show on Wednesday, August 16th at 9pm.

Stompin' George Eldon

Stompin’ George Eldon is a songwriter and performer. He has lived a bohemian life-style in art communities most of his life, coming into his own by performing on the streets with nothing more than a rain stick and stream-of-consciousness poetry. He writes of movie-star stalkers, weird love, his old man– and a fly with one wing. Influenced by Tom Waites, the B52s and Vic Chesnutt– someone once remarked at a show that Stompin George is Like “Hee-Haw on acid.” That could be interpreted in many ways with the changes in the folk and Americana landscape. Stompin’ George and his lead-guitarist, Charlie Binkowski, have several YouTube videos out– recorded by Bill Filipiak in Nashville. The latest recorded in February called “Twisted Rope.”
