On Sunday, December 6, renowned composer Andrea Clearfield and performance artist Alya Howe will bring together a diverse group of great talents for a festive evening of artistic exploration at the Holiday Salon at Justice Snow’s.  Dr. Clearfield and Ms. Howe have co-curated a program of dynamic performances including music, dance, art and performace art in the intimate and historic setting of Justice Snow’s Restaurant + Bar in downtown Aspen.

PRELUDE: Alya Howe, performance artist with Andrea Clearfield, pianist will perform a Holiday surprise

1. Singer/songwriter Michael Erik Waters will perform acoustic originals influenced by Americana, New Folk and Roots Rock joined by Mateo Sandate (Guitar & Banjo), and Sophia Clarke (Backing Vocals & Guitar)

2. Wink and the Signal with Barrett Black, cello and Lydia Bain, violin, will perform Afro-Country: a mix of reggae, bluegrass, soul and classical music

3. Pianist, Singer/Songwriter Vid Weatherwax will perform new songs from his catalogue of original music

4. Poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer loves getting wrestled by the poem and letting the poem win. She performs “So Damn Thirsty: Poems for the Longest Nights”

5. Marcel Majid Kahhak will paint live on location. Marcel believes that style is only a tool to express the “momentness” of personal creativity

6. Dominic Turtle and Melanie Finàn bring you “The Gift of Fire”, a story and dance that will ignite and inspire

Price is $25 per person and includes one complimentary glass of wine and passed hors d’oeuvres.
